Contract Award Announcement – Pembroke Street

After the prerequisite standdown period, and final contract negotiations, we are finally proud to announce that BuildX has been awarded a major refurbishment contract by Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) for works to 13 blocks of flats at Pembroke Street, Devonport.

This exciting £6m project will be delivered over 2 years, starting in September 2025, and includes:

Roofing and roofline works
Replacement windows
External repairs and redecoration
Reconfiguration and cladding of enclosed balcony structures
Electrical works
Communal area redecoration and flooring

This significant investment by PCH highlights their commitment to enhancing local housing stock and improving homes for residents – a real investment in the community and its future.
