You will report to a Project Manager and/or Contracts Manager, working as part of a structured delivery team.

Our core expertise lies in building envelope solutions, with particular strength in the installation, replacement, and remediation of façade and cladding systems. As approved installers for a wide range of leading EWI and rainscreen systems, we bring extensive experience in delivering works that meet the latest fire safety and building regulation requirements.

Based in Plymouth at Christian Mill Business Park, we operate across Devon and Cornwall, working with housing associations, local authorities, and private sector clients. We are known for our collaborative, solution-focused approach and our ability to deliver high standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients and residents.

THE ROLE

To support our continued growth and meet increasing demand for high-quality façade and external envelope solutions, we are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager. This is a key operational role that requires strong leadership, technical know-how, and the ability to manage complex site activities in a live and safety-critical environment.

You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a construction site, with a particular focus on external wall system upgrades, including the removal and replacement of combustible cladding systems. Projects are often delivered in occupied residential settings, requiring excellent coordination and communication skills to manage expectations and minimise disruption.

As Site Manager, you will take a leading role in the delivery of works in accordance with CDM Regulations, ensuring robust planning, coordination, and control of all site activities. You will be responsible for driving a proactive health & safety culture, not only ensuring compliance but actively challenging behaviours, improving standards, and embedding best practice across all site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site operations from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring full compliance with CDM Regulations and project-specific safety plans

  • Plan, manage and coordinate all site activities, including labour, subcontractors, plant and logistics

  • Take ownership of site health & safety performance, driving high standards through visible leadership, regular inspections, and behavioural interventions

  • Ensure all works comply with fire safety requirements, building regulations, and system manufacturer specifications

  • Review, implement and enforce RAMS, ensuring they are suitable, sufficient, and actively followed on site

  • Deliver effective site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks that promote engagement and understanding

  • Maintain high standards of site presentation, welfare, and housekeeping at all times

  • Liaise with Project and Contracts Managers to deliver works safely, on programme, and

    within budget

  • Act as the primary site interface with residents and stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication

  • Maintain accurate records including site diaries, QA documentation, and safety inspections

SALARY & BENEFITS

This is a full-time, site-based position, and as such, flexible or part-time working arrangements are not available. We offer a competitive salary that reflects your experience and expertise in cladding remediation and façade management.
