With over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Shane has led and managed various projects in the region, as well as holding a national Quality Management Audit role with a large PLC. Shane has specialist knowledge of insulated render solutions, cladding, specialist coatings, concrete repair, and whole-house social housing renovation.
Jon also has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. After an accomplished background and training with a large quantity surveying practice, Jon moved on to take up roles with main contractors and subcontractors delivering successful refurbishment, regeneration, maintenance and energy improvement schemes through the region.
Lee is a very well-respected manager with over 25 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, facades, render solutions and concrete repair. Having physically installed almost every cladding system on the market, Lee holds a wealth of knowledge and experience that is priceless to any project.
Simon Britton is our Managing Quantity Surveyor, overseeing the commercial management of all projects. He brings extensive experience in social housing refurbishment, maintenance, cladding, and EWI systems. Simon has a proven track record in the industry and has worked with Directors Jon Rosevear and Shane Jones in previous businesses.
Jake joined BuildX through a shared apprenticeship programme and has progressed into a full-time role as Assistant Quantity Surveyor within the business. Having developed strong experience across refurbishment and planned works projects, Jake now heads up a number of smaller refurbishment schemes while also supporting the Commercial Manager with day-to-day commercial functions including procurement, valuations, cost reporting and subcontractor management. Jake’s progression reflects BuildX’s commitment to developing emerging talent and investing in the future of the business.
Sam brings a wealth of experience in tendering, client development and business growth within the construction and maintenance sectors. Passionate about improving business processes and delivering high-quality submissions, she plays a key role in driving strategic growth across the BuildX business. Alongside leading bid management and client engagement activities, Sam also heads up BuildX’s social value initiatives, helping to drive the company’s energy efficiency, sustainability and community engagement objectives across projects and frameworks. She is actively involved in Building Plymouth and South West Women in Construction, championing talent, inclusion and diversity within the industry.
Ash is a Site Manager with a specialist focus on M&E, heating and compliance-led projects. With a background in plumbing, heating and gas compliance, Ash oversees the delivery of mechanical and building services works across a range of refurbishment and improvement programmes. He also manages BuildX’s Gas Safe registration and works closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard.
Jamie is a Project Manager specialising in cladding remediation and external façade projects across the BuildX portfolio. Having progressed through the business from Site Manager, Jamie brings strong operational knowledge, technical understanding and practical site experience to the delivery of complex refurbishment programmes. Process-driven and highly detail-oriented, he supports the Operations Manager in overseeing multiple live projects, coordinating site teams, programme delivery, quality assurance and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
James supports the commercial and operational functions of BuildX, bringing a background in financial services and compliance into the construction sector. He plays a key role in developing robust reporting mechanisms, commercial controls and cost management processes across the business, helping to strengthen operational visibility and support sustainable growth. Working closely with both the commercial and leadership teams, James contributes to the efficient delivery and financial oversight of projects across the BuildX portfolio.
Craig leads BuildX’s resident liaison function, acting as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and residents throughout live refurbishment and improvement projects. With a strong focus on communication, customer care and community engagement, Craig helps ensure works are delivered with minimal disruption while maintaining a positive experience for residents. He works closely with operational teams to coordinate access, manage resident communications and support the successful delivery of occupied property programmes.
Chloe is the backbone of BUILDX, ensuring everything runs smoothly. After a brief period in residential care, she pursued a career in administration. Chloe holds IOSH qualifications and has a strong working knowledge of CDM, providing vital support to both site and office teams.
Emily plays a central role in the day-to-day administration and coordination of the BuildX office, managing client calls, scheduling work bookings and ensuring visitors are always welcomed professionally and warmly. Alongside supporting the operational team, Emily is heavily involved in document control and compliance administration, including auditing site paperwork, maintaining project records and coordinating handover documentation such as O&M manuals and compliance certificates. Her organised and approachable manner helps keep projects and office operations running smoothly across the business.
Keisha provides administrative support across the BuildX team, assisting with day-to-day office operations, project coordination and document management. As a Trainee Administrator, she is developing valuable experience within the construction and property refurbishment sector while supporting both operational and commercial functions of the business.
