Plymouth Drainage and Damp Remediation Works Underway

We are excited to announce that BuildX SW is embarking on another project in collaboration with James Barron and Marley Risk Consultants Limited. After the success of previous joint ventures, we’re thrilled to be working together again, this time on a drainage and damp remediation project in the heart of Plymouth.
The project, which is scheduled to begin shortly, focuses on addressing external ground levels and improving drainage systems to mitigate damp issues. Our team will be reducing the external ground levels, an essential step to control water runoff and prevent moisture build-up around the property. We will also be constructing a venting trench equipped with a retaining wall and French drain. This comprehensive system is designed to channel water away from the foundations, helping to keep the property dry and structurally sound for years to come.
Additionally, we will be installing a cover grille over the drainage system, enhancing both its functionality and safety, as well as completing various other associated works. These improvements aim to provide a long-term solution to the property’s damp concerns, ensuring peace of mind for the residents.
As with all our projects, we are committed to completing the works with minimal disruption to the surrounding residents and the community at large. Our team is experienced in operating efficiently in residential areas, and we’ve developed a phased work schedule that will ensure smooth progress while maintaining accessibility for all occupants.
