Plymouth-based property transformation company, BUILDX SW, have invested in sponsoring or advertising through local sport, seeing it as their way to give back to the local community.
Alongside investing in advertising hoardings at both Plymouth Argyle Football Club, and Plymouth Albion RFC, BUILDX SW have also chosen to sponsor a local girl’s football team for the 2022/23 season.
BUILDX SW have sponsored the Hunter District Youth U10’s girls’ team. The team play in the Devon Junior & Minor league, in the Under 10 Tamar division. They have used the sponsorship to buy the girls some much-needed waterproof jackets.
BUILDX SW are sports fans themselves, whether that be watching it on the TV or visiting their local clubs, so this approach to supporting the local community made good sense to them.
SUPPORTING LOCAL ORGANISATIONS
Jon Rosevear, BUILDX SW Commercial Director, said: “It is very important to us that we support local organisations where we can, and give back for the support that we regularly receive ourselves.
“Many of our clients are huge sports fans, and together with our ethos to support local businesses & organisations, it was only right that we supported a local club who have a passion to develop. We chose to support the girls at Hunter District Youth because of their positive attitudes and commitment to the sport.”
At BUILDX SW, we strive to keep touch with the local community, and we hope that our approach will bring benefits to the local community, whilst encouraging others to do the same.’
